Jam Session

Posted In: Uncategorized

I know I haven’t posted anything in quite some time, but give me a break – school has been particularly hectic and the whole moving out situation and getting a loan… ugh. It’s been tough, but the dust is about to settle. To give you folks a little taste, my good buddy Whitney Millikan and I got down with a little jam session a week or so ago.

It was just her on her drums, me plugged into Adam McAmis’ stereo down in the basement with my laptop and Axiom 61. We jammed for a good long while, took a Halo break, then recorded an 18 minute track… so go get a snack or something before you put this on.

  1. Pretty damn amazing dude. I had no idea Whit could jam like that. Awesome. I think you found a touring buddy!

  2. Just some more thoughts on touring setups.
Daniel’s mention of a touring buddy brought to mind for me The New Deal’s live setup. They basically have a drummer, bassist, and a guy playing synths and keyboards live.

Here’s a video, there’s more out their, but this is the best i could pull up quickly: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BaIRlR-Kxfw

also, glad to see the remix tracks are going up soon!
