The Big Gaps

Yeah, I’m sorry about that. But first, let me go grab a Dr. Pepper.

Okay. Got it.

Well kids, here is what’s been going on with things lately:

1. I moved down to Chicago, finally. I had orientation and registration with Columbia and I start school on Monday. It’s going to be a relatively daunting experience for the first few weeks, I imagine, but I’ll murder the shit out of whatever I can to really make a good first impression with some of my Professors.

2. Braydon, the DJ, and I are working on a new moniker, “The Dad Machine”, to perform at a bar on the north side of Chicago called The Elbo Room. It’ll be February 12th, recorded, and probably posed on the site at some point.

3. My work is now available on an electronic net label from Cologne, Germany called Rec72. It looks awesome up on the site and there are some other very interesting, very talented musicians on board there. It’s an honor to be a part of it.

Jamendo is beginning to pay off which is good. My manager, Dan, moved to the city as well, but has been busy with work and I’ve been busy with… well, business I suppose. Preparing for the show, sleeping, girlfriend, going out and becoming familiarized with the area. It’s been very exciting lately.

Whenever Dan get some free time (which is always a coin toss, that lazy bastard), we’ll get the rest of the remix site up and running. All of the tracks are uploaded, we just need a plate to serve it to you loyal, fun-lovin’ folks on.
