  1. A popular topic as of late…

    During The Great Schism of 1378-1417, all of Europe was excommunicated when two rival popes denounced each others’ followers. In response to this power struggle, two university professors tried to translate the bible from latin so that the peasants could read it themselves. They were both burned at the stake, though on……e of them was already dead, and had to be dug up just so the catholic church could make a point.
